UMPIRES WANTED FOR 2024 SEASON

Males and females 13 years of age and older are wanted for the Umpire Program. 

There is no cost for classes. Ten classes are held in the East Islip library during an approximate 10 week period.  Classes will be held from January thru March.  Also, we will have training sessions on calling balls and strikes.

Upon passing the course, where the passing grade is 70%, umpire pants are required to be purchased.  Hats, shirts, sweatshirts and equipment are supplied by the league.

Umpires must be available during the week and also weekends.  If school or senior ball is played, a schedule can be worked out.
